A homepage and event-page direction for Japan Golf Tour. Created independently, not commissioned or endorsed by JGTO, J-Tour or NSSK.

01 / The opportunity

Give new fans
a place to start.

The existing site already provides scores, schedules and player records. This direction brings the next event, its players and supporting stories into one clearer journey.

02 / The approach

Keep the scores.
Build the story.

Immediate access to official results, a repeatable tournament page, player discovery and three proposed content formats. A scroll-controlled tee-to-green sequence introduces the sport. Scores and navigation remain available throughout.

03 / What I would deliver

A system the
team can use.

Visual identity exploration, content structure, responsive design, motion and reusable templates for event pages, campaign assets and partner presentations.

Sources, artwork and prototype scope +

Opening imagery: Original generated photographic course studies, layered camera movement, a shaded golf ball and photographic flags embedded in the course imagery. These are fictional coastal landscapes, not footage or reconstructions of tournament venues. The animated opening is a design demonstration, not a playable golf simulation.

Concept status. Japan Golf Tour is used as the consumer-facing name. This study does not assume that the new J-Tour operating company has been appointed as a replacement consumer brand, that a creative brief is open or that funding is available for this scope.

Source material. JGTO English homepage, ANA Open 2026 event details, Hiroshi Iwata, Taichi Kho and NSSK’s March 26, 2026 announcement. Information checked on September 13, 2026. The result table is a dated snapshot, not a live scoring integration.

Artwork. Golf-ball rendering, landscape, hole illustration and graphic elements were made for this concept. The landscape and hole are fictional and do not depict a specific course. Player photographs are credited to JGTO. They are reference material for this independent design study, not licensed campaign assets. Publication and campaign usage require permission. User-supplied visual references informed the direction; their logos and artwork are not reproduced.

Working prototype. Scroll motion, motion toggle, navigation, result tabs, visit panel and editorial-format panels work. Official scores, profiles and event information open external source pages. No ticket inventory, live scoring, subscriptions, audience tracking or video platform is connected. Japanese-language content needs a native editorial and design review before a production launch.

Production checks. Content and identity approval, image and broadcast rights, CMS ownership, scoring and ticketing integrations, Japanese/English typesetting, accessibility, device performance, privacy and analytics would be scoped with the tour team. This file is not a production replacement for JGTO.
